The candidates you turn away are another franchisor's next signing.
ORBIT is a referral network for franchisors. When a qualified candidate isn't right for your brand, you pass them to ORBIT. When they sign with another member, your company is paid a flat referral fee.

How a referral moves
Five steps. Your sales team's part takes about a minute.
Who ORBIT is for
Emerging franchisors who generate more qualified inquiries than they can place. Most members are early in their growth, and ORBIT is weighted toward them.
Every member is both a referrer and a receiver. Tap a member to see how candidates route through ORBIT.
Every member is both a referrer and a receiver. Multiple brands can share a category; ORBIT routes each candidate to the member brands that fit their category, state, and budget.
Built to keep your sales team out of broker territory
Franchise broker rules in New York, Washington, and (from July 2027) California reach anyone paid to arrange a sale. ORBIT is structured so the network entity carries that status, not your reps.
- ORBIT is the registered brokerORBIT's LLC holds the broker registrations. Members sign a referral agreement and add ORBIT to their FDD franchise seller page.
- Reps say one approved sentenceYour team never pitches another brand, never quotes a fee, and is never paid individually on another brand's close. The candidate consents directly with ORBIT.
- State gate before every introductionORBIT never introduces a candidate into a state where the receiving brand isn't registered. New York, Washington, and California leads are held until ORBIT is registered there.
Three more guardrails
- Candidates see the moneyEvery candidate receives a one-page compensation disclosure before an introduction: who pays, how much, and who receives it. No earnings claims, ever.
- Your data stays yoursMembers never see each other's pricing, pipeline, or closing rates. Candidate records are kept only as long as the fee window requires, then deleted.
- Rescission protectionIf a candidate rescinds inside the clawback window, the fee is refunded pro rata. Payouts are released once the window closes.
Founding seats
ORBIT is opening with a small founding group of franchisors who already know each other's work. Founding members help set the house rules.
- 90 days freeDues are waived for founding members who register five or more candidates in their first 90 days.
- Lead-handoff software includedA member portal to refer candidates, see who's been introduced to you, confirm prior contact, and track fees.
- Month to monthNo term. Either side can leave on 30 days' notice. Protection windows on referred candidates survive.
